MedioEvA. Per un archivio delle scrittrici nel medioevo (Sapienza. Università di Roma)
The project intends to implement the work undertaken by Peter Dronke (1984) to arrive at setting up a reasoned registry of the numerous female authors (Latin, Byzantine, Provençal, Old French, Italian…) of medieval Europe, starting from the 6th century up to the XV, with the production of bio-bibliographic records and summary tables (relating to the chronological and geographical distribution of women writers in the various literatures of the Middle Ages). Their profiles will initially flow into a specific repertoire in the form of a digital publication equipped with doi and open access on the MedioEvA Centre website.
