The scientific activities of the MedioEvA Centre will resume in September with new meetings and initiatives, which will be announced shortly in the Events and News section.
In the meantime, the Centre is working on the development of new tools and programmes devoted to the study of women in the Middle Ages, research, training and the creation of scholarly networks.
Current areas of development include:
- the systematic updating of bibliographical resources on women in the Middle Ages;
- the development of MedioEvA Futura, a hub for students and early-career researchers;
- a census of undergraduate, master’s and doctoral theses devoted to women in the Middle Ages;
- new training initiatives focusing on research, teaching and project development.
MedioEvA Futura aims to encourage the circulation of information, connections among people working on related topics, and the creation of new collaborations and research projects.
Those developing a research project or idea that falls within the thematic and chronological scope of the MedioEvA Centre may contact the Centre for an initial discussion, to identify relevant expertise and to explore possible networks, collaborations and host institutions.
